Miss Czech-Slovak Wisconsin Junior Royalty Program (ages 13-17)
The Junior Royalty (formerly Queen's Royal Court) was designed for young women between the ages of 13-17 to provide a training ground for being a potential Queen Candidate when they become old enough. We have expanded this to include young men (even though not able to run for WI State Queen) of the same age who want to explore their Czech, Slovak, Moravian, Silesian, or Rusyn Heritage. Candidates will complete a private interview, kroje modeling, and a talent. Successful candidates will receive a sash and a tiara/crown. Young women and men may take part in the Jr. Royalty Program more than once (but will only receive one sash/tiara/crown regardless of how many years they participate). Candidates will receive constructive feedback from the advisors. If a candidate already has a sash and tiara/crown from past years, she/he is encouraged to wear them.
NEW FOR 2026! Heritage Workbooks!
The heritage workbook is designed to encourage the young person to take more interest and initiate more engagement with their heritage. Don't fret! It's not a lot of work, but it will help the members to learn more about their heritage. As these become available, they will be added to the Pageant Documents Page.
ALL applicants (regardless of years of participation) should complete the Year One (1) Workbook to bring with to private interviews. We suggest purchasing a 3 ring binder that you put this in (with sleeve protectors for the photos). This will enable you to add new workbooks for each year that you participate in the Junior Royalty Program and be an amazing resource for when you run for Miss Czech-Slovak WI State Queen some day.
